THUNDER CHALLENGE 2010 IRON MAN HOCKEY TOURNAMENT@ PINES ICE ARENA OFFICIAL RULES AND GUIDELINES DIVISIONS: Adult, Highschool, Bantam, Pee Wee, and Squirt WHEN: SATURDAY, JANUARY 2, 2010 AWARDS FOR: 1ST PLACE TEAM - TOP GOAL SCORER - MVP - TOP GOALIE COST: $300 PER TEAM OR $60 PER PLAYER 3 Game Guarantee All games will be refereed by a USA Certified Official. THUNDER HOCKEY is not responsible for injuries. THUNDER HOCKEY is not responsible for lost or stolen items. ALL GAMES WILL FOLLOW USA HOCKEY RULES EXCEPT FOR THE FOLLOWING CHANGES: 1. 1-15 Minute Period 2. No Substitutions 3. No Icing or Offsides – No Checking 4. Penalty Equals Penalty Shot 5. Eight Goal Mercy Rule 6. 2 Points for Win…1 Point for Tie…0 for Loss 7. Top 2 Records Advance to Championship Game 8. Championship Tiebreaker will be Decided by Sudden Death Playoff 9. 4 Skaters Plus Goalie 10. No Time Outs 11. Zero Tolerance For Fighting 12. Upon Scoring of a Goal or Covering of Puck by Goalie, Offensive Team Shall Clear the Offensive Zone Until Puck Moves Into the Neutral Zone… Defensive Team has 10 Seconds to Move Puck Out of Zone. There will be a minimum of 4 teams and a maximum of 6 teams per division. Each division session will last 2 - 3 hours.
